North West may only be 3 years old, but she’s already following in her mom Kim Kardashian’s footsteps when it comes to fashion. North definitely has a fancy pair of stilettos to fill, but luckily Kim is helping her mini-me out by giving her access to her personal wardrobe and that includes Kim’s Met Gala dresses!
Some mom’s pass down jewelry or little trinkets to their children. Kim Kardashian, 35, on the other hand, will be passing down her gorgeous Met Gala dresses that she’s stunned in over the years. Okay, so it’ll be a few years before North, 3, will be looking to fit into one of her mom’s gowns. But Kim is thinking Nori might want one for her high school prom. No harm in planning early!
“All my Met dresses. Maybe she’ll want to wear one to prom,” Kim told PEOPLE. “Everything I have is for her, and she’ll look at it and say, ‘Can I wear that one day,’ and I’m like, ‘Yes, you can,’ and she’ll say, ‘Okay, I’m gonna go eat my vegetables, but I’ll be back and be big.’” OMG, North is just the cutest!
Although North may want a custom dress of her own by the time she hits high school, Kim’s closet of Met Gala dresses isn’t a bad collection to look through. Kim’s look at the 2016 Met Gala may have been our favorite dress yet! Going along with the Manus x Machina theme, Kim wore a beautiful Givenchy gown with metallic paneling and a high slit. She totally killed it! Her other looks include her 2015 look, where Kim commanded the red carpet with a sheer, Cavalli dress with crystal and feather detailing. The look was brought together with a sleek high ponytail. SO beautiful! And in 2014, Kim stunned in a gorgeous blue and black Lanvin gown with a high slit and exaggerated bodice.
North will have a lot to choose from, but Kim revealed that she’s started to develop a fashion sense all on her own! “Someone said to her the other day — she was wearing a little slip dress and a choker– and they said, ‘Oh, you look so cool,’ and she’s like, ‘I’m not cool. I look pretty. This is a pretty dress. It’s not cool.’ So she’s very into things having to be pretty colors or pretty jewelry,” the reality star said. That’s so adorable!
We definitely get the sense that North is a little fashionista in the making, just based off of the cute outfits she’s been spotted wearing. From little motto jackets to cute slip dresses, this girl nails every look! But there’s no surprise that the 3-year-old knows how to create an ensemble. After all, her parents are Kim and Kanye West, 39!
