Aw — Ne-Yo brought his newborn baby boy to the 2016 Teen Choice Awards on July 31, and the little cutie made QUITE a splash! Posing with his mom and singer dad on the red carpet, the youngster totally stole the show and proved that he has just as much style, and swag, as his famous daddy!
Ne-Yo‘s, 36, son, Shaffer Chimere Smith Jr., nicknamed Prince SJ, may only be four months old, but he can already check attending a red carpet off his bucket list! The R&B singer adorably brought his infant to the 2016 Teen Choice Awards on July 31, and the little guy was definitely one of the cutest red carpet goers of the entire night!
But Prince SJ wasn’t the only guest Ne-Yo brought to the show. His wife, Crystal Renay Smith, 26, also attended, and the sweet threesome turned the night into a family affair as they all posed together on the red carpet — SO cute! And we just love what Prince SJ wore for his big debut! The tiny boy sported a denim jumpsuit and fresh white sneaks, which only goes to show he’s already taking after his daddy on the style front.
Even better, we love how Ne-Yo’s whole fam was at the TCAs to support him while he performed a super touching rendition of “What’s Going on.” The star sang after a group of teens — including Alton Sterling’s son — who have lost relatives to tragic gun violence took to the stage to share their stories of tragic heartbreak and tragedy. WHAT a beautiful moment. And how special that Prince SJ got to watch his daddy up on stage!
Crystal and Ne-Yo welcomed their first child together on March 15, just three weeks after tying the knot! “I haven’t slept in about 14 days,” the singer told People mag just weeks after his son’s birth. “I’m loving every minute of it.” Aw! “He’s actually a really good baby,” he added. “He doesn’t cry much, he just doesn’t sleep at all. So if he’s awake, I gotta be awake, so that’s how that goes.” What an adorable family!
