The hot and single Ranbir Kapoor will turn a year older today on September 28. The actor we hear plans a grand birthday bash cum housewarming party for close friends and family at his new bachelor pad in Bandra. We’re sure that this will be one helluva event, but this will also reveal the actor’s current rapport with Bollywood stars. We’re sure that RK Jr will invite Karan Johar, Ayaan Mukerji, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt etc. But we also know the names of the ones who will NOT make it to Ranbir’s starry guest list. #Obvio Katrina Kaif!
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif‘s break-up wasn’t exactly amicable. There was no mud slinging but stories of Katrina asking for a reconciliation and Ranbir suggesting that the actress move on only ruined it further. When Ranbir spoke good things about his ex-lover in an interview we hear that Katrina was fuming. Many suggested that the actor had chosen the perfect time to speak-up – when Katrina was out of India for the US Dream Tour and much after the buzz around their split had died down. The fact that this live-in couple separated and moved out of their lovenest became widely discussed topic. Kat’s definitely not in Ranbir’s guest list duh-uh!

And mind you here the ex factor is not the reason alone. Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor have never really been friends. Recent reports even claimed that Salman was upset with buddy Sanjay Dutt for letting Ranbir play himself in Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on the actor. And Ranbir and Salman have a past – no, not Katrina. Reports suggest that Salman and Ranbir were involved in a brawl at a nightclub. Apparently after a heated argument Salman slapped Ranbir, who left the club soon after. It was the two actors parents who made peace and killed the controversy in the bud. Clearly Salman and Ranbir haven’t been on a good track even before the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil hero entered Bollywood. They might work together on professional front, but Deepika is NOT Ranbir’s friend. In fact, despite buzz that Ranbir and Deepika bonding post his break-up with Katrina friends close to the actor reveal that there’s no truth to these rumours. Deepika like Katrina is his ex and considering that they are a hit formula at the box office the duo is cordial. Deepika has moved on and is in a serious relationship with Ranveer Singh. So for those expecting Dippy to attend RK’s birthday bash, she will be missing too. Not to forget Deepika and Ranbir’s mom Neetu Kapoor do not exactly get along. The actress was once smitten by her co-star while filming for Saawariyaa. The film bombed and their personal equation too went awry. Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir have ever since maintained a clear stance that they aren’t in good terms. In fact Kapoor lad recently took a jibe at the actress and said, “I may not be the most recognised fashionista. Though I believe I’m the male version of Sonam Kapoor. But nobody recognises that. I guess. I have to put in more effort and be out there for people to recognise the talent in me. I am an absolute epitome of fashion and style. I hope that people get it.” Of course who can forget Sonam’s catty remarks about Ranbir on Karan Johar’s Koffee couch! Ouch!

The filmmaker might have launched Ranbir Kapoor, but what followed is what makes a potboiler. Yes, Rishi Kapoor accused SLB of giving his son the worst debut. What was worse is that Ranbir completely ignored Bhansali and went on to work with other filmmakers. Sanjay also found his new favourite in Ranveer Singh.
