Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan, who got married in 1998, were granted divorce by the Bandra family court in Mumbai, on Thursday, thus ending their 18-year-long marriage. The couple, who had filed for divorce last November after living separately for a while, arrived in the same car for their final divorce proceedings. None of their family members were spotted with them at the court.
The custody of their son Arhaan will reportedly remain with Malaika, while Arbaaz will have access to his son whenever he wants.
The estranged couple was spotted partying together with their son just last evening, at the Justin Bieber Concert at D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Even post their separation, Malaika and Arbaaz have been spotted partying together on many occasions over the past few months. The couple has not let their differences come in the way of spending quality time with their son.
Buzz is that the two plan to continue to work together and are likely to co-produce ‘Dabangg 3’ that is expected to go on floors in a year.
