Priyanka Chopra has signed on Salman Khan’s ex-manager Reshma Shetty, read EXCLUSIVE details here…
The actress who is undecided about her next Bollywood venture has roped in a new manager. The A Kid Like Jake actress has been busy in the west with her popular television series Quantico and Hollywood assignments. A source told Bollywoodlife, “Priyanka has roped in Salman‘s manager Reshma Shetty. She will now be looking after her assignments here.”
For long now buzz was that Priyanka is keen on signing a Hindi movie. Unfortunately, with all the travel and work abroad she has not had the time to finalise anything as yet. Buzz was that the actress had signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gustakhiya, a biopic on Sahir Ludhianvi that was to feature Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. Around the time this news was floating SRK had some meeting with the Devdas director. While the actor expressed his eagerness to work with the filmmaker her did not confirm any such film. In fact, even Priyanka recently denied signing a Bhansali movie. Recent rumours hinted that PC was going to work opposite Aamir Khan in Rakesh Sharma biopic.
Coming to Reshma Shetty, she is best known for handling Salman Khan’s work. After a fallout recently and some major differences, Khan and Shetty parted ways. Reshma was immediately signed on by Akshay Kumar who had no manager for all these years. Shetty’s company has also handled other Bollywood talents like Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar. With Priyanka on board, Reshma’s clientele has only got more starry.
