Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the cutest couples of B-town. Be it in movies or at award functions or during any event, we have always seen them share a sizzling chemistry with each other. Ranveer and Deepika have been dating each other for nearly 3 years now and while it has always been lovey-dovey between the two, there have been some testing times too. 2016 started with reports of the Bajirao Mastani getting engaged and even marrying by the end of the year, however the couple squashed all these rumours. But by the middle of the year, things started looking very different. Rumours and speculations did the rounds that is all is not well between the two. In fact, a few days back, a leading daily even mentioned that the two had split up, however BollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY revealed to you that Ranveer and Deepika are very much together even though they are going through a rough patch.
Ranveer and Deepika chose to remain silent about these speculations, but in an interview to HT Cafe today, DP finally opened up about the rumours that she has broken up with beau Ranveer Singh. When she was asked what she takes away from these speculations, Deepika mentioned, “I don’t, because there is nothing to ‘take’. I have understood it (the speculations) well enough to know what I should absorb and what I shouldn’t. After a point, one becomes completely immune to these things. You can only do things that are in your control. Certain things are a given when you are in this industry. I am sure there are certain advantages and disadvantages of being in this industry. And this is one of the things one has to deal with, and that’s totally fine. The ups, the positives, and the love we get is way too much for us to get bogged down by the speculations or the negativity.”
After Bajirao Mastani, Ranveer and Deepika will be seen in another period love story – Padmavati. The movie is set to take off from November 1 and will also star Shahid Kapoor. Padmavati is also their third film together with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Ain’t that cool? On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is also awaiting the release of his next – Befikre, which hits the screens on December 9. While, Deepika Padukone’s next is a Hollywood film – xXx: Return of Xander, which also stars Vin Diesel.
