Priyanka Chopra set the red carpet on fire today in a gown by Jason Wu. The actress joined the Best Dressed Club with other celebrities like Sofia Vergara, Mandy Moore, Felicity Huffman, Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner and many others. She also presented an award for the Best Director with Tom Hiddlestone of The Night Manager best known for his role as Loki in Thor and Marvel Avengers. The Quantico star has managed to up her style game at every event and press conference. PeeCee plays an FBI Agent, Alex Parish, in her TV show, Quantico season 2 of which will go on-air from 26th September 2016.
The Bajirao Mastani star has made an appearance in a lot of Hollywood Award shows and events this year including the Oscars, People’s Choice Awards, SAG awards, Presidential dinner at the White House, Billboards Music Awards and so on. Her career is at a very high point right now and the Desi Girl is making the most of it. She stunned the viewers and the fashion police with her red gown. But what caught our attention was that Deepika Padukone wore a similar gown at the IIFA awards this year. It’s not identical but somewhat similar to what Piggy Chops wore at the Emmy’s. Deepika had opted for a red gown by designer Prabal Gurung for IIFA 2016, Madrid. Though the two hot women chose different looks and hairstyles, their dresses are kind of similar as both dresses are red and one-shouldered and both of them look equally hot.
Deepika and Priyanka are both set to make their debut in Hollywood with XXX: The return of Xander Cage and Baywatch respectively. Deepika will be playing a badass and Vin Diesel’s love interest in the movie while Priyanka will make her debut with a negative role. The two were last seen together in Bajirao Mastani with Ranveer Singh and won a lot of praise from the audience for their performances. Priyanka was last seen in Jai Gangaajal and DP’s last one was Bajirao Mastani. Deepika is all set to start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor whereas PeeCee hasn’t taken up any Bollywood project yet. The actress is with Quantico’s Season 2 and quite a few brand endorsements.
The two divas have always surprised their fans with their style quotient. Though Deepika slightly disappointed us with her recent outfit which was a tad OTT.
