People will always find something to complain about.
‘Assassin’s Creed’ is based off the video game series by the same name. Callum Lynch (Fassbender) happens to have the memories of his famous Assassin ancestor in his memories, so the company Abstergo uses the Animus to dive deep into his memory, in this case back to 1480 and the Spanish Inquisition so Lynch can play the role as his ancestor Aquilar to discover the secrets of the Assassins society.
The new trailer for Fox’s ‘Assassin’s Creed’ released today and overall fans are excited about it. Michael Fassbender looks the role of an Assassin, the fights look epic, 1480 Spain looks glorious, there is still one problem, and it happens to be the same problem with the original trailer: The music.
The first trailer had Kanye West’s song “I Am A God”, while this second trailer features a different song from a currently unknown artist, but it’s not something you’d hear in the Spanish Inquisition. The video game soundtrack featured epic songs from the past that really bring you back in time, and that’s what fans want to hear.
Hopefully, the film won’t suffer the video game movie curse like so many before it.
