The Bollywood remake of The Fault In Our Stars remake has caught everyone’s attention. Especially after casting director Mukesh Chabbra, who will be marking his directorial debut with this film, introduced a pretty new face Sanjana Sanghi as the leading lady of the film co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput. Will the movie live up to the original Hollywood classic? Is the only concern that everyone is having as of now. However, when John Green, the author of the book The Fault In Our Stars, came across the news of this Bollywood remake being made, he had a pretty amusing reaction. I mean, he obviously is happy about the remake but somewhere in his tweet it feels as if he never saw this coming.
Sharing a report of Sanjana being confirmed for The Fault In Our Stars remake, John tweeted, “I can’t believe this is happening. Amazing! “Bollywood remake of The Fault in Our Stars confirms its female lead”. Mukesh couldn’t contain his excitement on seeing this response coming from someone who penned down the original story as he replied, “Wow. Thank You”. Following which, Sanjana too saw her face on John Green’s tweet and said, “Wow this happened! Such an honour.”
