After enjoying great success in its first two weeks, Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra-starrer Golmaal Again has slowed down in the third week. The horror comedy collected Rs 1.02 crore yesterday (third Tuesday) and currently stands at the total of Rs 195.78 crore. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collections on her twitter handle, “#GolmaalAgain is almost there: ₹ 200 cr mark… [Week 3] Fri 2.04 cr, Sat 3.69 cr, Sun 4.85 cr, Mon 1.25 cr, Tue 1.02 cr. Total: ₹ 195.78 cr. India biz.” While earlier, we were quite sure that Golmaal Again would enter Rs 200 crore club in its third week itself, now it seems we would have to wait for a bit longer.
Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal Again has shattered every possible box office record of 2017. Due to the perfect blend of comedy and horror, the film has performed well in both single screens as well as multiplexes. Interestingly, the film, which has a huge star cast of Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade and Tabu, has turned to be their individual highest grosser. Since there is no big release in the coming week, we can expect Golmaal Again to achieve the feat of Rs 200 crore by its fourth weekend.
