Katrina Kaif to do an item song in Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil?

Rakesh Roshan is said to have approached Katrina Kaif to do an item song in Hrithik Roshan’s Raees after Priyanka Chopra declined the offer.
Kaabil‘s teaser released today and set the tune for a clash that is impending next year during the Republic day weekend. It has Shah Rukh Khan‘s Raees for company when it releases and that will be something to look forward to. Yes, there have been talks about how SRK is thinking of leaving the spot but no confirmation has flown in. The teaser left a lot to imagination. Yes, Hrithik’s voice stating the darkness in life has made it pretty interesting and intriguing but it has no glimpse of the actor in it which was a bit of a dampener. Anyway, it’s finally out and everyone is waiting for it. Now we told you how Senior Journalist Rajeev Masand mentioned in his column about the possibility of having an item song in it to amp up the proceedings with Priyanka Chopra. But with the latter bowing out, they are looking for an alternative and Masand reveals it could be Katrina Kaif
Yes, you read right. According to Masand, Rakesh Roshan had approached Priyanka Chopra for an item song which is kind of obvious since she is the Krrish heroine. He has worked with her in all the superhero flicks. Guess that’s what made him approach her for the item song. But it seems the actress politely refused it. She is anyway very busy with Quantico’s shooting schedule. She is also apparently thinking about what she should sign next and thus, wants to stay away from an item song. That’s when it seems Roshan decided to approach Katrina Kaif.
