Once again, actress Radhika Apte has fallen victim to an online leak. An year after the scandalous leak of her nude scene from a film went viral on Whatsapp, another such scene is making rounds on the messaging app since a few days. This time, it is a love making scene from the critically acclaimed film Parched that is going like wild fire. The scene from the Ajay Devgn produced film features the actress going topless. It is aesthetically shot by director Leena Yadav and holds great meaning to the whole film, if only people understood that.
The leaked scene is very sensuous one between Radhika and Adil Hussain, and it is highly unlikely that a scene like that would ever be in an Indian film any time soon. Since Parched was made keeping in mind the international audience, a scene of this sort was not shocking.
The leak coincides with Parched winning big at IIF Melbourne. At the recent, popular film festival, Yadav’s film won the top honours. The film scooped the Best Film Award in the Indie category and Leena won the Best Director award. Ajay Devgn took to Twitter to write “My film Parched on an award winning spree @leenayadav wins Westpac best director award and westpac best indie film award @mitulange @IFFMelb”.
Set in rural India, Parched stars Radhika Apte, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Surveen Chawla and Lehar Khan in key roles. It follows the lives of three ordinary women who begin to break free from centuries-old traditions.
