Love it or hate it – How do you like the teaser of Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt?

After much speculation, the first poster and teaser of Rajkummar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt has released. Titled Sanju, this one stars Ranbir Kapoor, who plays Bollywood’s Baba. ‘One man… many lives’ is the tagline of the film. The teaser kicks off with Ranbir as the titular ‘Sanju’ coming out of Yerwada Jail in one of the many avatars of Sanjay. From his drug addiction days to when he faced terrorism charges, the teaser offers a sneak peek into the different phases of Dutt’s controversial life. The teaser is probably not a part of the actual film as only the last few seconds feature actual film footage.

The teaser was launched by Ranbir, Raju and producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, at an event that was held in Mumbai today. They played a recorded video message by Sanjay, who congratulated the entire team and especially Ranbir for doing a wonderful job at duplicating his body language and mannerisms.
