Here’s an official clarification on Sridevi’s tragic death….
Finally here’s putting an end to all the conspiracy theories surrounding Sridevi’s untimely demise. Yes, she passed away in the bathroom of her hotel in Dubai on the night of 24th February. However, cardiac arrest is not the actual cause of her death unlike what was reported earlier. The post-morterm report shockingly suggests that Sridevi in fact died to “accidental drowning” after she collapsed in the bathtub of her hotel room. A copy of the post-morterm report has been released which clearly mentions the same but as per Gulf News, there’s also an additional info that states the forensic reports reveals traces of alcohol in Sridevi’s body.
The forensic reports have now been handed over to Sridevi’s family after a long heated investigation of over 30 hours. Now it’s left to see when will the repatriation take place. Going by the early buzz, Sridevi’s mortal remains is expected to be flown down to Mumbai through a private jet by today evening itself followed by the impending last rites. Sridevi was survived by her husband Boney Kapoor and two daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. The actress had been to Dubai to attend Mohit Marwah’s wedding. However, unlike her family members who returned to Mumbai after the wedding on February 20th, Sridevi decided to extend her stay and spend some quality time. Surprisingly, Boney too wasn’t by her side when she collapsed in her hotel room considering he had flown back to Mumbai for some work commitment.
