The fashion industry is changing more and more each day and we love it! Not only are designers’ runways turning into ‘see now, buy now,’ they’re adapting to real life and it is so refreshing! One trend that we’ve been seeing a lot of during New York Fashion Week Spring 2017, is plus-size models. From Ashley Graham to Jordyn Woods — plus-size models are taking the runways by storm and we love it!
While runways were once decorated with super skinny models, now we can see some realistic women strutting their stuff!

To be honest, we have to give a lot of the credit to one of our fave designers, Christian Siriano. It all started when absolutely no one would dress Leslie Jones, 49, for the Ghostbusters premiere, but he stepped in and dressed her in a stunning red gown. Even better than that, he debuted his runway collection during NYFW and he had 5 plus-size models strut down the runway, including model, Georgia Pratt. He also dressed the stunning plus-size model, Ashley Graham, 28, who sat front row at his show. She also sat front row at the Prabal Gurung show, decked out in a sexy dress!

Ashley is so bold and confident — we are obsessed with her! She has her very own plus-size lingerie show during NYFW, Holiday 2016 RTW + Ashley Graham Lingerie Collection, presented by Addition Elle at Kia STYLE360. The show features top plus-size models from Candice Huffine, Barbie Ferreira, Tara Lynn, Jordyn Woods, and more. Plus, the brand is launching it’s new campaign, “F*This!”. Ashley is set to present her Essentials line and her Holiday 2016 Seductive collection. How amazing is that!?
Another plus-size model making moves in the fashion week world is Kylie Jenner’s, 19, BFF, Jordyn Woods. Jordyn just debuted her plus-size fashion collection with BooHoo.com, and it’s amazing!

Chromat was another runway show that debuted during NYFW that used 5 plus-size models as well, including model, Iskra Lawrence, 26, who flaunted her body down the runway in a one-piece bathing suit.
