Janhvi Kapoor is a very private person that way. It’s only recently that she has started coming out in the open; that too because she’s gearing up for her Bollywood debut (Dhadak) that’s releasing this July. And then with the sudden demise of her mom Sridevi, people have got all the more curious to know more about her personal life. So at such a time, when you happen to see her sending a text that reads ‘Ily’ to her special friend Akshat Ranjan, it does make you question. Akshat, who was rumoured to be dating Janhvi, at one point in time shared this beautiful snap on Instagram to wish her on her 21st birthday today. He also captioned it with a heart and wrote, “Happy Birthday”. But much to everyone’s surprise, Janhvi acknowledged his birthday wish with much love as she replied saying “Ily” which for all that you know is a common abbreviation used for I love you. Now it could be also one of those sweet replies that you send out to a friend but then, is that just about it?
That way Akshat has always been very close to Janhvi’s family and has also accompanied them on quite a few dinner outings and movie screenings in the past. But this now makes us wonder what’s the true story behind the link-up rumours of Janhvi and her Dhadak co-star Ishaan? Guess, it’s time we stop reading too much in between the lines.
