We have been counting the days for the trailer of Deepika Padukone‘s big Hollywood debut and it is finally here. The makers of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage released the promo just now and we have to say that it has surpassed our expectations. After seeing the first two teasers over the past couple of days, we were excited for the trailer and now, we really can’t wait for the film to release.
The trailer of the film starts with Samuel L Jackson telling us that the world is not a safe place and the war that they are waging right now needs a different player. In comes Vin Diesel, pulling off some crazy stunts as he and his team try to pull off a crazy assignment given to them. We see quite a few glimpses of Deepika Padukone in the trailer and we have to say that we are loving her bad ass avatar. The trailer promises us a film with a lot of action, mind games, love and insane stunts.
The film, directed by D.J. Caruso, releases on January 20, 2017 and is the third part of the xXx franchise. By the looks of things, it will also be the most exciting of the lot. The third part sees Vin Diesel return back to reprise his Xander Cage character, after Ice Cube had replaced him in the second part.
We hear that Deepika Padukone will be promoting the film abroad and in India. In fact, she will get Vin Diesel, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Chris Wu and D.J Caruso to India for promotions too. Cool, ain’t it?
